FYI: UPS Ground Shipments US to Canada
This may be common knowledge but it was news to me and I've bought lots of parts form listers in the US:-
On a recent shipment of parts from a lister in the US to Canada I was charged $46 (CDN) on a shipment which was valued at $108 (CDN). The lister in the States had already payed all the shipping costs!
The brokerage fees were the killer:-
Entry Prep Fee $20.75
Disbursement Fee $4.50
CA COD Surcharge $4.00
Total Brokerage fee $29.25
Food for thought on low value shipments....
