Go with the click type. I've had one(Sears) for a couple years and have had no
problems (gotta torque those aluminum rims to 90 ftlbs).
The beam ones are a major pain to read most of the time. With the click
one you just push until you feel the click. Another BIG plus is the
rachetting (spelled right?) action of the click type. Works very well
in small confined areas. Not that we would need that...ha-ha.
Read the owners manual, very important to store it with it set down
to a low torque setting, I usually store mine in the 20-30 range. Make
sure you get the one with the grey plastic storage case, less chance of
damaging it.
