Tranny Upgrade (Dream)

I was wondering, (dreaming), does anyone make a six-speed trans. for the
4000's & GT's?  I know it's a flight of fancy, but I was curious, and in
the market for a new gearbox.  While I'm in this haze I might as well ask
everyone's opinion of different lowering/performance springs.  Which is
best for an enthusiast who doesn't mind a rough ride to and from work,
and doesn't give a damn what passengers think?  Eibach, Spax, or H&R.  Or
any others?  This is for a `86 GT, by the way.  Not that I have any way
of affording all this stuff.  Thanks!
