I just put Koni Sport Adjustable shocks and 2Bennett Delrin bushings on my
'90 CQ and it did all of the above with the stock springs...  I'm very
happy with it. I think that you could do the same for the A4, plus some
large anti-roll bars.

BTW, there's also a supercharger kit for the A4...
