FWIW, the European 1986 90 quattro, identical for all purposes to your 4kq,
is stated to have a towing capacity of 600 kg for an unbraked trailer and
1400 kg for a braked one. 2.2 Lb/kg. Source: Autovisie Jaarboek 1986.
