Bought a 90q -- what to check

  I just got an '88 90q that seems to be in good shape, with a couple
exceptions.  The drivers side window will only go up about 3 inches, but it
will go down.  I can't even pull it up.  Also the inside door handle doesn't
work.  I figure it's minor stuff but I'm new to Audi so I thought I'd ask
anyway.  
  Everything else seems to be ok, but what should I look at, or expect to have
problems with?  About the only other thing it needs is a valve adjustment.
Any advice is much appreciated.
