The airbag recall just involves an inspection, they don't actually have
to replace anything.
The catalytic converter recall is a little different--see if you can get
a copy of that recall notice.  What happens is the driver's side
catalytic converter breaks and rattles.  The recall notice is good as
long as you own the car (!) and you shouldn't do anything until the
driver's side cat goes bad.  Do try to get a copy of the recall, 
though, in case you need it later.
