I have had trouble with my alternator. If I were driving and came to a
stoplight and had to slow down, I would get a major power failure.Replaced
my alternator, but only to find out this one was bad also. Took it back and
got another one, and same story. I discovered the problem was the electric
cooling fan, that was locking up and sucking all the juice. Replaced it and
problem solved. However prior to all this I had a very low battery thus I
put it on the charger overnight. Next morning started the car without any
problem and saw that my computer display was dead. Everything else is
working fine. The only thing that shows is an arrow on the left bottom and :
in the middle. Could the computer display in the dash be fried, without
damage to other components? Fuses 4 and 12 are ok.                  thanks,
