misc thoughts on no handers

Not long ago I had the opportunity to be in the beautiful motor city
deposing an expert hired by one  of the big 3 [nameless here], in a
crashworthiness case---a rollover case specifically.

Engineer testified that [of course] it was my guy's fault, because of
"incorrect steering inputs".  When pushed on what the "correct
steering inputs" would have been, in his opinion, he said the best
thing to do would have been to simply release the wheel...and the
vehicle would take care of itself.  Given the context of the "steering
inputs", his words were like Miles music to my ears...truly beautiful.
 Even got a chuckle out of the company lawyer...who suggested we
"talk" after this one :)
