This email is being sent to everyone who asked for info and/or said they
wanted to buy a set.
Currently, the list numbers 24 people, which is several more than the 17
pairs Metrix said they were getting shortly. Phillip might have others
that were around before he got the shipment, and/or be able to get more, or
that many listers may back out for various reasons to bring the number down
to 17.
I have yet to figure out the best way to ship 24 sets of Euro lights;
everything seems like quite a bit of work for whoever gets 'em.
Plan A:
-get them sent to a shop that agrees to accept them. Lister re-ships all
23 other sets to listers around the country. Could be done with UPS and
"bill receiver" to cover shipping costs. Maybe pay the shop a set amount
to handle re-shipping all the lights($5-10/set?)
Plan B:
-get metrix to ship them individually to everyone. I don't think they will
be very keen on this at all so we might as well forget it.
Plan C:
-dunno. No plan C. Makes suggestions. Remember, 24 units is a LOT.
As I said before, worst case scenario is $275/side, $550 total(before
taxes/import whatevers.) Harness from Todd Candey's shop: approx("just
below") $100. Bulbs? Dunno. Quite a bit, after you get done; there are 8
total!
Todd's harness plugs directly into the OEM sockets, so conversion back is
easy. Only hookups are power+ground for each "module" of the harness.
Harness is equipped with resistor to "fool" autocheck, and since the
modules are seperate, has relays for L+R sides seperately. Does not run
both fillaments of the H4 bulb on high, only high of H4 and the H1 bulb's
single fillament because of wattage loads and heat(short bulb life.)
Phillip has not called me back since Friday when we talked initially; I
will call him tomorrow for an update and to discuss the discount, packing
materials, etc. I realized it too late(5pm) to call Metrix today; they
were closed.
If you'd like to be put on the "waiting list", contact me. Current people
on the list are, in the approx order they replied:

I don't know if we'll be able to accomodate those who wanted more than one
set, but I'll certainly try; however, I'd rather everyone got one set than
some not get a set at all, if you understand what I mean.
