new tires

My wife drove over something big and pointy enough to hole a 205/60 VR 15
Michelin XGTV (summer performance version). I always liked these tires,
enough to buy a set for each of our cars.

Now that the XGTV is old news, I've ordered a set of Conti CV90s in the
same stock size for the car. Looking forward to driving them...I've heard
lots of good things about the Contis, and TireRack has them for $79 per.

BTW, the local gas station tried to plug the hole from the outside before
they called the tire a goner. I thought plugs were history...anyone?
