RE: Info on 91 100 engine swaps

I didn't mean to imply that I was thinking of putting a v8 into the Audi, I
was just saying that we're comfortable doing an unusual swap. I agree that
rebuilding the current engine will probably be the most sensible way to go,
but I thought I'd ask for other ideas.

Why are the 200's so much more desirable? Sorry to ask, but I pay very
little attention to the larger Audi's...

swaps are welcome. Price is more of a concern over complexity; we've done

There's a big difference between putting a V8 into a sunbeam and a V8 into
an
Audi. The best bet is to replace the engine from another 100 or rebuild it.
then sell the car and buy a 200 or 200q. As far as swaps go a V8 will not
fit
easily or cheapily into the car, a turbo five will fit physically but there
are wiring problems and maybe drivetrain problems to worry about..
