The stock bulbs on the stock wiring seem to last forever.  There are
two variables - more powerful bulbs, and the auxiliary harness.

More powerful bulbs don't last as long.  Your experience is about
right for the stock wiring.  With the auxiliary harness, figure on
four to eight months for 80/100s and two to three months for 100/170s.
