Interesting but predictable thread so far. I agree
with both sides of the fence on this one. BUT,
as much as I love to drive a stick, especially
one that's coupled to lots o'power, the endless
traffic jams that are more and more commonplace
everywhere in the world today make even the
most diehard proponents of stick shifts wish
they were driving an automatic instead of a
stick.  The parking lot that the autobahn
becomes on holiday weekends makes me think
that even teutonic manual shift diehards wish
they had a "D" selector on their cars.
