G60 on 2.0L 8v Audi?

Well, the wrecked G60 Corrado is a no go.  Prices for parts are too high.
BUT, my sister is always complaining abouth the lack of power on her '88 90
with the 2.0L engine.  How much of a project would it be to transplat the G-
lader system to her car?  I am under the influence (of something) that the
1.8/2.0 engines VW used and the 2.0L Audi engine are nearly identical.  How
much fabrication would it take (or how much of the stock VW mounting brakets
could be used).  I know to get the ECU, g-lader, pulley, mounting brackets,
airbox, plumbing, IC (if it's ok/present), intake manifold.  Anything else?
This is still in the thinking process.
