Re: yikes! melted/charred rad. fan connector!



As I just replied to Huw, I panicked and ordered all the parts to 
do his conversion from the dealer today.

I now know that those parts are only for the 5k style! <DOH!>

That's what I get for ASSuming that Huw's site was limited to 
the Coupe GT application!

So tomorrow morning I hope to be able to cancel the special order 
without much drama.

It is good to know that I already have a fuse!  I was very concerned 
when I saw the sorry condition the wiring was at the fan motor.

Even though I saw the fuse for the "fan", and even checked it 
after seeing on the fuse box cover, I guess I had myself convinced 
that it meant something else.

Is there an upgrade (or is it an upgrade) to put a 5k fan in a Coupe 
GT?  Or, will it even fit?
