Advice
All:
My '90 V8 has an odd quirk of late. I recently had my rear brakes
re-done, new rotors, pads and re-built calipers, hand brake cables.
Just before having it done, I noticed that if I started up from a stop
with the wheels turned hard left, I would get a tire scrubbing noise
and sometimes a "clunk" from the left rear. Sometimes accompanied by
the "Antilock off" light being on briefly. I thought it would be
cured by the brake job, but it wasn't. I have a feeling it's either
an anti-lock system problem or the rear diff. Either way, $$$$$$.
Any ideas?
