About 11 years ago a drunk driver came roaring thru an intersection right
after I'd walked across the street. If I'd crossed, say, 20 seconds earlier,
I'd be dead or in a wheelchair now.

A couple of years ago I was out walking one night and saw a policeman
arresting a drunk driver. The driver said he didn't want to go off and leave
his car. The officer told him he had no choice in the matter!
