"buyer's remorse" ;-). I agree that "the best quattro ever made" is stretching
things a bit...but I can't imagine any quattro fan could really shun a 5spd
V8q. Could they? Seems the only "bad things" I have heard (about the V8 5spd
q) are from 91 200q owners...hmmm. Could it be latant V8 envy? ;-)

So to end this on the lightest possible note...if you could only have one
quattro at any given time for all purposes, which would it be?

I'll start...make mine a highly tuned S6 wagon with no obvious external mods.
