What club? What flyers?

I hope the Qlist never stoops to flyers. :)

Anyway, no need to apologize (or "be careful") about noting the average
age. Speaking as a "senior", I think most of us long ago got over being
sensitive about age--unless the motel neglects to offer a 10% AARP
discount. :)

BTW, many of us elder folk had a good chuckle at Mt. Washington last month
when Charlie Rutan (1st in class at Mt. Washington HC 1954) pulled up to
the starting line in car #75 (his age?), a tube chassis VW beetle. The
sponsor logo on the rear spoiler: "AARP"

Old Charlie only managed 16th fastest (7:42:50) overall (of 60) and placed
3rd in his class.

Apropos of the "age thing"--> Just this morning I read a tiny
back-of-the-magazine ad by Audi of America concerning the A4 1.8T. I quote:

"AUDI A4 1.8T. Drive it while you are still lying about where you've been.
Not your age....Visit us at http://audiusa.com"

Seems maybe Audi has managed to be offensive to a wide range of age groups.
