Passat Sighting

Don't know if this is old news or what but it sure grabbed my attention.

Just came out of the grocery store to see a brand spanking new Passat in
a beautiful burgundy color (or maybe a real red rust brown, there goes my
mild red/green colorblindness again) with Borbet Type T's, SP8000's
225-50-16, tan leather interior, and tiptronic with wood on the shifter
surround.  

So far so good, I really liked the wheels.  As I walked around the back,
low and behold there was a V6 badge.

Now I'm not a big fan of tan interiors and the leather looked pretty
bland, but the burgundy and the wheels and the V6 badge really sang to
me.  No it won't replace my avant, but they're getting close...  It may
not be quite as svelte as the A4, but I think it has more of a presence
with the right color and wheels.
