RE: 20v URQ Dynamics

certainly the 10v mb engined ur-q is about 60kgs less (@1331kgs or 2934
lbs) than the 20v ur-q which weights in at 1395kg (which is still a hell
of a lot less than the s2/s4/rs2 which is a little less than 1600kg).
the wr ur-q had the same weight as the mb at 1331kg. this would mean
that, should i ever encounter phil payne on a twisty road, he'd have to
be carrying his fiche reader and tool kit ;-)

take out all the mechanical injection plumbing and substitute the efi
bits, and you'd think that it'd be lighter. can't see how the 20v head
(+10v and +1 cam) weights 60kg more either.

certainly the exhaust/catalysts would weight a bit, and there is more
sound deadening all over the place, but thats all i can think of. audi
certianly didn't invest in new heating controls.....

now, the sport at 1273kgs, and you're torquing...
