Compressed Nitrogen tanks are a bit more dangerous than a compressor as
well. You never want to have the gauge/fitting assembly break at the top.
The tank weighs a ton, goes faster than a rocket, can go through concrete,
will not have a stable flight pattern and will have a detrimental affect on
your pocketbook and your standing amongst your peers. Make sure you chain
it securely when using/transporting/not using and use the cap when not in
use. Of course, the BTCC teams all use them so they can't be that bad....

Compressors are portable as are generators. Our crew rents a motorhome
with a garage in the back and it comes with a generator and a compressor.
Best of both worlds. Normally, we use a generator and a either a gas or
electric compressor (still bring the generator for lights if using the gas
compressor).
