Carpet Care
There is so much shampoo left in my carpet after separate two cleanings that
it foams when it gets wet. Are there any BTDT's out there?
The car was detailed several months ago and I noticed a slight stickiness
after the carpet dried. I assumed it was residual soap. Then last Friday,
the dealer that replaced my dead heater core was nice enough to shampoo them
again to help get rid of the coolant that leaked inside.
There was so much stuff left on the carpet, that I used a little carpet
cleaning machine, which is basically a squirt gun and wet vacuum cleaner, to
suck up the residual. There is still too much shampoo left in the carpet and
probably the pad.
Is there a drying agent, perhaps a powder or granular substance that would
help absorb this moisture and soap? I really don't want to remove the carpet
and pad if I don't have to.
