Awesome idea. Makes me think of the "V-12 club" tour that Peter Egan wrote
about recently in Road and Track.

"Mostly unspirited?" Paul, *you* of all people writing that amuses me the
most. What are the odds that we don't even wait until the first 1/4mile of
the "tour" before the spirts start to rise? Come on.. I was on the Kanc
run... I know how it is. We could hardly run around town without running
'em failry hard.

Very smart way to plan it. That would have eliminated so many of botches on
the AF trip. Last minute changes can be a major PIA, and trying to find
dining for a group of 22 or so Audi geeks can be a real challenge.

Keep in mind, when choosing restaurants, to try to avoid pure
"Steak-houses." We had three vegetarians (of varying intensity) on the Fest
convoy.

I like it alot. Sounds like a plan. Might be a good idea to choose a
start/stop point with a good motel/hotel combo for those that decide to
overnight it.

Paul you are the "idea-man". Good one. Who get's the $10/car "donation"? :)
