New rear wheel brake cylinders are VERY cheap (look in Exchange & Mart at
the adds for Euro Car Parts and German & Swedish).

Once again, new drums are VERY cheap.  In an emergency, three bolts will
hold the wheel on perfectly well, but I would still get a new drum.

Maybe it was just one of those days.  It sounds like your car has been in
contact with salt - lots of penetrating oil 24 hours before you tackle a job
is called for.
