Re: Leather cleaner

I can WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend the two-step Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner. We
recently purchased a ten year old car that had always had Lexol applied and I
can say that this stuff works! After ten years the leather is baby-butt smooth
and soft. Their website ( http://lexol.com/welcome.htm )has a TON of info on
why their product is the best, etc. etc. and all I can say is it's true.

Usual disclaimers, etc.

Subject: Leather cleaner

:Hi all,
:
:A few weeks ago I picked up a bottle of Eagle One Leather Cleaner at the
:local Trak Auto. I tried it out on my 86 5kcst and noticed that not only
:was the cleaner largely ineffective but also that it produced visible
:cracks in some places. I then proceeded to return the bottle. The leather
:in the car is black and fairly aged and I do want to give it a thorough
:cleaning. What do you guys recommend? I have a bottle of Eagle One Leather
:conditioner but without a cleaner, it's largely ineffective. I need a safe
:and effective cleaner. Any ideas?
