Re: CAMARADERIE (lack of) in NH
The other day my wife and I were at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua,
New Hampshire. I saw this blue V8 looking for a spot, and decided to
follow (we were in my A6Q). There was a space right next to the V8, so I
pulled in next to it, just as the driver and lady-friend were emerging
from the car. I tapped my window-down button, smiled, and said "Nice
car." They both looked at me as if I were speaking a foreign language,
and walked into the mall without a word.
I noticed then that the car had a Massachusetts Dealer tag. Maybe this
guy was just a used car salesman for some no-name car lot. It's possible
he had no idea what he was driving. Or maybe it's just that being from
Mass, he's not used to people being friendly. [I'll get it for that
one!]
