Brake Pad Recomandation '84 Ur-q (G60 Calipers)

Well this morning on the way to work I got that infamous grinding indicating
that it is time for brake pads.  For the last 10+ years I have been using
Metalmasters (AKA Slagmasters?)  with ok results.  I am looking for a pad that
will be good for spirited street driving and the occasional Auto-X.  Any
recomandations on what type of pad, compound, and where to get them would be
greatly appriciated.
