Subframe bolts

I also have a snapped subframe bolt on my 4k, and here is what I found.
The nuts inside the frame are attached to small plates that move around freely
in the frame allowing for the alignment of the subframe.
My guess would be that the ruined nut with the plate could be fished out
through an opening (there are a few for undercoating) of the frame and a new
one could be put in there without cutting open the frame.
