This is what the Bently recommends, I believe.  They also recommend use a
heat gun or hair drier to heat up the badges and then use a blade/knife to
remove them; I believe the idea is to remove the badge(which gets hot real
quick) from the adhesive, _THEN_ remove the adhesive from the car.
