USA Trip

Starting to plan a little ...

I leave the UK around a week after Coy's. Assuming it _does_
actually take place (we're being dicked around with again) I'll have
some photos (6" x 9"?) that someone might like to scan.

There'll be an ECU or two in my bag, too, that might find their way
into the US Mails.

Does anyone want/need anything that they suspect can only be obtained
either here or in Germany? I have two trucks coming from the Fatherland
next week - if it's something relatively low cost, it's easy - otherwise
we have to talk. Anyone looking for something that AoA just can't get?

I've just been to try and get my poserphone changed for one that will
work in the USA, and it's desperately difficult. 152 countries have
agreed on standard frequencies - only the USA and Thailand are
different. "Dual frequency" handsets are becoming available, but
only slowly.

Two questions:

a) Is there a GSM network in the Minneapolis area like there is, e.g.,
   in New York/Boston?

b) Are dual frequency handsets available/cheap?
