Re: More power

I guess I can start with the basics. You can always start with the
cheap(er), easier stuff first. A K&N air filter is always worth a few
horses. I guess you would get the canister-type. If anything, it'll
help your car sound cooler. Next is a free flowing exhaust system.
Flowmaster mufflers are good, inexpensive, and readily available. Just
don't get a goofy "Coffee Can" ehaust tip, which is all the fashion down
here in S.California. Tacky, tacky, tacky! (The last statement is just
my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt)

Next would be a chip. T.A.P. & IntendedAcceration seem to have the best
one's, but I'm not the person to ask. I only have a CGT, so the best a
chip would do for me is about 10hp, if I'm lucky. Then their are hotter
cams, by Strick, I think. But this is about the limit of my knowledge
for your model of car. The hard core Q-Lister's will probably take it
from here. Good luck, and happy motoring!
