At last November's SEMA show there was a company showing a device like this;
Maybe the same one.   Anyway there was a couple of isles over an air filter
company with a air flow bench to show how different filters were better or
worse than others.

I convinced both exhibitors to make a test.  Install the device into the air
filter.

Yes, there was more air entering the flow bench!  If I remember about 5% !
We did the test twice and then the air filter guy wanted to get back to his
business of air filters.

My concern is as I posted to this email list earlier a miss, a stumble, and
the computer reducing boost can occur from a cone filter.  Guess what it
will do if you make a tornado inside the air meter?  I don't know but it is
difficult to make laminar flow with that thing.
