86 5 KS for sale (No, not mine)

Anyone need an 86 5 KS 5 speed not Q for $1,400 - owner might take $1,200 -
money talks. Guy I know has this gold colored 5 ks - claims everything is
new, but when I went down the painfully long list of expensive bits so
beloved by us type 44 owners, many things were new, but not all. Bomb and
rack claimed new, has all metal radiator. New style window reg, driver's
door. RR window "motor is good, needs regulator". AC needs two switches (uh
huh) and is "not blown". Seats are trash - someone slashed them trying to
steal his sound system.

This car runs well, has a good body and 4Ks spoke wheels. If you had a
parts car/wreck, etc., you could make a decent car out of this one. I have
a black naugahyde set of seats that will fit it, and also a blue cloth set
- $100 for each set.

Car is in Daytona Beach, any statements made by owner should be taken with
several grains of salt - he now drives a quote "bitchin" unquote 93
Cavalier - and got upset when I suggested he keep the Audi instead because
he's fixed everything . . .
