Well, you two have the stickers in front of you, mine is long gone and nothing
but a (vivid) memory so I have to soften my stance some. Apologies to all for
the WOB this thread may have become. As far as the "regional" thing
goes...most all car makers do indeed single out the CA market for certain
option packages and have done so for quite some time (anyone recall the old
"Mustang CA Special"?). When I was first shown the 4kcsq at Anderson Behel the
sales person introduced the car to me as a "commerative build" and that was I
recall the window sticker stating as well (on several in stock)...this much I
do remember. Like a first love, it is possible that my recollection of my
first quattro is not 100% what I thought it to be.
