IMHO, the 1.8T is better.  Just don't do like me and settle on a
non-quattro!  The 1.8T has the potential to surpass the 2.8 in
performance even with a Stage 1 upgrade including a chip and air
filter.  Its lighter front end provides more desirable handling
characteristics.  And, if you really hafta have the leather, the dealer
can usually add that on as an option.  So get them to find a 1.8T for
ya....you'll be amazed at what the dealer can do if you show him the
money.
