Re: Flat tyres and high speed
Hi Mike!
Sorry for the delay.
I need a spare set of the P7's. I think it ain't going to happen. They were specked for a Ferrari (forget which one) and the DeTomaso Pantera. These people are going to need tyers sometime!
I think we may have to go +1, +2, +3, whatever. I will still have a problem in the rear though (I even uses spacers!). I may have the widest street 911 in the USA.
In case you where wondering, my 911 is an ex-race car (team Toad Hall), (formerly a street 911) I am converting to street use (for the past 10 years!). I did race (club) and drive on the street, but it is no fun (ever drive Goodyear Slicks on public roads? Very hard on the
fore-arms, smooth as silk on a track) until I de-tune the whole damn thing!
Let me know if you find big!!!!!!! 15" rubber.
Go Crazy, david
ps. Gross, let me know if you get a copy of this, we can talk 911.
pps. What kind of name is Gross? did your parents hate you or something? LOL.

My 911 has 15" x 10" w/ 285/45 series and 15" x 14" w/ 345/35 series P7's.
Guess which are in back? Using metal valve stems, and duct tape over the
tape-a-weights!
