AoA visit...

Stopped by Audi of America today which is curiousily missing the Audi
signs on the exterior of the building.... Inside was the S4 that Paul
Rivera brought to our attention last month. There was also a red Sport Q
with roll cage and, yep you guessed it, Minnesota plates. Seems that
someone owns one too many of these Sport Q's.... The S4 was gorgeous, with
it's leather/blue Alcantra interior. I had to see under the hood so a
quick walk over to the front desk and a little talking got the security
guard to bring the keys down and unlock it. Nextime I'll bring a
flashlight, that engine bay is TIGHT! The upper "Y" intake tube seems to
be made of plastic, there are 2 intercoolers which looked similar to the
1.8T units. Also, on top of the belt-driven and electric cooling fans
like the 1.8T, there was a third electric fan in front of the condensor
acting as a "pusher" style fan.
After drooling all over the beast and
getting wierd looks when I laid on the floor to take a look underneath I
had to ask for a look around the Sprot Q. Upon asking the lady seemed
very hesitant and replied with a firm "No, it's not our car". Oh, well.
All in all it was a fun trip, I'll go back with my tool box next time. ;-)

Anybody know if the blue that car is painted is the "RS2" blue? Sure
looked it from what I have seen in pictures.
