Big reds to the rescue (already?)

The Mrs was on an errand run in the 94 S4, and some idiot makes a U-Turn
from the right lane
in front of her (she was in the left lane). Needless to say after some
cardiac stimulation
the car stopped in record time and avoided a unwanted shortening of it's
wheelbase.
She praised the brakes, gave me a kiss, said I was smart in investing in
the brakes, story has good ending. Gee....
