Its the control rod - the plastic clip part (vacuum can end) broke on mine
2 weeks ago also. Linda told me it was about $18.00, and the plastic
disk/clip comes with the rod - not sold separately...

BTW, when this part breaks and you don't tie the rod up it eventually falls
into the manifold area and jams the throttle shut.
