Re: 5 bolt conversion on 4kq is complete
What is the point of installing bigger brakes, tougher suspension, 5 bolt patter?
I don't know? More choices when it comes to brakes? Larger selection of larger wheels
(original factory)?
Larger driveshafts to handle power from a soon to be turbo? Just because?
It was not that much trouble as long as you have the tools (mig welder) and sources for cheap
used and new parts.
Example:
Each strut cost me $20.
Brand new Brembo 11" were $50 each.
A set of Ur-q Boge shocks with less than 1500 km on them $140 for a set.
A set of used rear 4kq driveshafts $100.
Set of new pads Ferrodo $60.
Also remember these are Canadian Dollars : )
I also like the way those 15" Ronal R8's look on the car with low profile rubber.
