Desperately seeking Quattro....
My fianc‚e and I are totally committed Quattro enthusiasts with a
problem. We are desperately seeking three Quattro owners out there to
help us out (reward offered)....
In less than 3 weeks we get married and for over a year we believed
that an Audi dealer would have kept to their word about an arrangement
we had with them to borrow 4 cars (in exchange for a PR opportunity)
for our wedding. They haven't. They've let us down.
We get married in Cornwall, England on Saturday the 15th of August and
we absolutely definitely want our wedding cars to be Audi. All Quattro
enthusiasts will know that a Mercedes is quite simply a less than
adequate substitute and that Audi will not rent their cars out. We'd
like you, the owner, to drive the car to the church on the day
(especially if you have a suit - funny hat not required) for not
further than 6 miles.
Ideally we would like Tornado Red Audi Quattro UR1s but ANY, ANY Audi
would be appreciated. If you own any Audi model - A4, A6, A8 please
get in touch...I will take my Red Quattro UR1 and A6 but I still need
3 more.
So what's in it for you?
First of all you will be invited to our wedding as guests of honour at
the church and with your own table at the reception. You'll also be
invited to the post reception BBQ if you're interested.
Second, you'll be invited to take part in the PR opportunity we
originally set up for the local Audi dealer with pictures of you and
your cars being published in a national magazine.
Thirdly, we'll pay for your petrol to and accommodation in Cornwall so
you'll have a great weekend in beautiful Cornwall with travel,
accommodation and as much food as you can eat completely free.
Finally, you'll have our lasting appreciation of making our wedding
day as special as we always intended it to be.
If anyone either can or knows someone who can help us please, please
get in touch with me at awoolhouse@zetex.com or on 0973 322542 or on
01484 548518.
Many, many thanks
Shelley and Alan
