Re: Test drove a new BMW......and AC (Also, a Brett Dikeman request)
To: DOUBLDz
Dee,
Next time you have a problem with the AC, hold both the recirc and upper
air flow buttons until you see 01 in the temp display window of the Climate
Control (CC). Next, hit the recirc button and see what the value is in the
fan speed window. If it's anything other than 00.0, report back and I'll
track down what it means for you.
Brett, if you read this, will you forward the FAQ address to Dee with a
direct link to the CC information? Thanks.

Since I have your attention, just wanted to mention a little air
conditioning
quirk... This has happened twice, weeks apart but I thought it strange:
Driving along, air is on, car is nice and cool. This last time, I had
just
dropped someone off and was continuing on and the car got real humid.
Thought
it was from opening the door but it kept up. There was still coolish air
blowing in but you could feel it getting humid in the car. I pressed a
few
buttons trying to straighten it out but when that didn't help I just shut
it
off and rolled down the windows. I got home, did something real quick and
was
back in the car again and the air was working fine, and its still working
fine. So its not a huge problem (I hope) but this time of year I would
like to
not let it become a huge problem. Baby has to go back to the dealer for
something else on Tuesday so if there is something they should check I'd
like
to let them know about it.
As always thanks for your patience in answering all my big and small
questions....
