Re: Advice needed on torque wrench

As i am looking for (the ultimate) torque wrench, i'd like some advice
   regarding Audi torques.
I've noticed that the wrenches doesn't all start at zero nm torque.

What range should the wrench have; Do i need to buy two ?

Hey, anything worth doing is worth doing to excess; buy several!

Seriously, I have two -- a 3/8 drive for "light" work (cam bearing
caps, etc.), and a 1/2 drive for "heavy" work (flywheel bolts, wheel
lug nuts, etc.).

No torque wrench (that us mere mortals can afford, anyways) will be
accurate at "0" torque readings, most start at some still-pretty-light
value (like "5" on a "200" wrench) where they start to be not completely
inaccurate (and tend to get more accurate as they approach "full scale"
settings).

And don't forget to reset them back to "off" ("0", minimum tension)
when you're done with them and about to store them away again. (Ob-
viously, this only applies to the "click" type pre-tension units)
