RE: tires for 4ksq

Sp 8000's are no longer in production so unless you can find someone who
happens to have some in stock forget it. They did make them in 205/45/16's
though. Sp9000's I have heard are a great tire.

>Michelin Pilot SX MXX3 ZR $194

Probably an excellent tire except for the price. Short to medium lasting.

>Goodyear Eagle GS-D ZR $180

Yuck. Do you really want the same piece of crap that early 90's corvettes
came with. Garbage. Short lasting and did I mention garbage.

>Michelin Pilot SX GT VR $163

Still way to expensive for a downgraded mxx3. Medium lasting.

>Yoko AVS Intermediate ZR $145

Best track tire save 008's or other more race tires. Great tire just expect
less than 20k miles before reaching deep to pull out another $600 for the next
20. I ran them for my last set. Probably a better track tire than the sp9k
but maybe not on the street.

>Yoko A520 VR $110

What I am running now. A little less grip than the Avs but good in the wet
and only notice the less grip on the track. And that was brand new so my
guess when they wear a little track performance should be better. Medium
lasting meaning 25-30k miles.

>Dunlop Sport W-10 VR $ 99

Know nothing on this one. Based on previous Dunlop experience it may be good.
 My guess medium lasting.

>Goodyear Eagle HPUltra HR $154

$154 for an HR tire???? Not in this lifetime. Many better tires for the
money. Never had good luck with Goodyear.

>Bridg Potenza RE910 TR $ 86

Not in the same league as the others but I have always liked Bridgestones.
LONG lasting

>Goodyear Eagle F1GS-D2 ZR $209 (OE...I don't know what on...???)

Probably a good tire but no better than a sp9000. IMO not worth any extra.
