Just after posting, the obvious occured to me: is the reservoir simply
_overfilled_? Meaning I can't see the level 'cause it's just too high?

I need to check on that possibility, since when I looked inside last time,
I just was relieved to see enough fluid, and so I didn't think to check if
it was above the "max" line. I'll report back if this "solves" the problem.
