This smells like someone who thinks if it ain't German it's a POS.

Miatas are great cars and the TT(as an example Audi) should aspire to
handle as well as, and be as reliable as one.  The fact is the TT won't
handle as well(or at least be as fun in the handling dept.) because it's
either FWD or AWD.  Also, at this point, my girlfriend's '94 Miata has been
more reliable than my '98 A4(Miata, 0 problems, A4, one minor).

Unless you've driven a Miata, you have no idea what's glaring in his eyes.
Driving lights are supposed to be for when other cars aren't around.  Don't
be an a**hole, turn them off.
