Re: HELP!! Need Parts!

Possibly........

Currently a local body shop has the car right now, but..........

They seem to have "a problem" correctly fixing my Audi!

The accident damaged the right front strut, wheel , steering arm,
door and fender.

The body shop found some "used parts", which were from a 1991
Audi 90, so they didn't quite fit.......

What they did then was remove my old suspension parts, repainted them, and
reinstalled them, claiming they were "New"..........

Since I "caught them in the act", so to speak, they've been back pedaling
quite a bit, and I happened to mention it to the Insurance adjuster, who
wasn't
real happy, since he's flipping the bill of $2100, for "New parts"........

I went back a second time, after they stated it was finished?

On the car, I have an aftermarket set of H&R springs, and Boge shocks.
When the body shop received the "correct parts" this time, they simply
inserted the entire strut assembly inplace of the damaged one, spring and
all!

So when I went to pick-up the car, it was sitting funny.........
Not to mention the replacement strut has a bad wheel bearing, and they
damaged
the anti-lock brake sensor!

So I phoned the insurance adjuster and informed him, I'm refusing the car,
and
currently were in "negotiations" ,so I may possibly wind up getting paid to
fix my own car. Imagine that!

So now you know the story up to today, and by the end of today, I should
know more.
