I'm not sure if US citizens can take advantage of qGmbH's services. My
local dealer has their brochures available by special request. If you order
a car and want any of the 'special' stuff done to it, the new car is simply
shipped straight from the factory to qGmbH and modified appropriately.
There are extensive options lists for these mods (which I've seen but can't
get), but basically 'anything goes if you've deep pockets'. Bargain with a
_very_ extended ordering period, and high costs for the mods, but they're
all done under factory warranty and as good as the factory would do it if
it were stock. Always wanted to wear your sunglasses in your car? Just get
day-glo green leather upholstery. Want a sunroof in the back, paint to
match your nice new briefcase, or a very long version of the A8? qGmbH can
apparently supply these.

Seeing that the US model range is a very condensed version of the euro
range, I guess that the qGmbH mods are not available to US customers.
Judging from ongoing discussions about AoA and dealer's attitudes, I guess
that anyone wanting something out of the ordinary is not very welcome to
these parties. The US liability laws might also have something to do with
this, I guess.

You could however try to contact qGmbH directly, and see what they have to
say about supplying modified vehicles to the US.

tel ++49 841 89 76 90 for a catalogue of all options.

I think there's also a link from www.audi.de to more address info, but to
my knowledge they haven't yet entered this decade- they can't be contacted
by e-mail. I can't check any of this- Netscrape's decided to take the day
off.

Don't worry about this. It isn't going to amount to anything.
